My wife and I recently stayed at the Cedar House Inn. It was our first time at a B&B and we stayed here because the reviews on trip advisor made this the number one in St. Augustine. It was everything the reviews claimed it would be and more. The location was perfect (walking distance from everything), the food was gourmet quality, and the owner (Cyndi) made EVERYTHING the best experience we could have ever imagined. We stayed in the Sanibel Room. Private entrance (which was nice) and very clean inside and out. Free cookies and wine 24/7. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone going to St. Augustine.

I've stayed at five St. Augustine B&Bs now, and while you can't go wrong with any of them I think, my experience at the Cedar House was truly excellent. Breakfast was to die for and everything was just so lush and lovely and still grandly decorated for Christmas. Cyndi knows exactly what she's doing and will make you feel 100% at home. I can't wait to go back.

We just returned from our stay at the Cedar House Inn. The first of many visits to come, I'm certain. Right in the heart of historic St. Augustine, the inn is a meticulously restored Victorian gem, beautifully furnished to create a romantic old-world experience. A great night's sleep in our four-poster bed fitted out with sumptuous linens. Breakfast was simply delicious. And Cyndi and her staff ... we feel as if we've known them forever. The loveliest people, welcoming you into the loveliest home imaginable. We've had the good fortune to stay at some high-end B&B's, and the Cedar House is absolutely on par with the best of the best. We loved it. Loved every minute of it.

This B&B has everything. The owner, Cyndi, is very friendly and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comforable and enjoyable. She truly made us feel like we were at home. She even encouraged to help ourselves and have a glass of wine from the living room/lobby whenever we wanted to. Every room is beautifully decorated in Victorian style and looks very refined and welcoming. The breakfast is a real experience: prepared from scratch, beautifully presented, delicious, and fresh! Thanks Cyndi for your warm welcome and for making our stay so memorable!

When arriving at this b&b I thought it looked cute. Little garden out front with a little fountain, wrap-around porch and Victorian style home. Made me feel welcome. Trying to open the front door, it was locked. You had to ring the doorbell and there greeted Ms. Cindy, the owner, by saying welcome home!!. She had a warm welcoming smile, truly excited we made it, and you could tell she loved people. She sat us down asked if we wanted anything to drink and then we discussed what the best places are to visit and were she recommended. She is truly awesome! Bet accommodating and wants us to have as much fun as we can! She gave us a mini tour and brought us into our room. She explained how to work the AC and the fan and let us get on our way. My girlfriend and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversary and the next time we come up here I will definitely stay here. Btw, in the morning she cooked us all breakfast and used real, that's right, REAL products. Eggs were not in a box, she picked her own veggies and herbs. The dishes were amazing and the group shared a few laughs. She has successfully ran her b&b and it is my pleasure to be sharing my experience to you all!!

This place is so amazing. My husband and I stayed there this weekend and I can't express how wonderful it was. Cyndi (the owner) made us feel like family. I just wanted to hug her the minute I met her. Everything was very clean and beautiful. Breakfast each morning was honestly the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. I would stay there again just to have breakfast. Apparently she is actually releasing a cook book soon which I am super exited about. If you are going to saint augustine definitely stop by. You will love love love this place. Casandra & David Perez

My husband and I stayed at the Cedar House Inn for one night during our Honeymoon December 25th 2011. We stopped in St Augustine and had made arrangements for the night with Cyndi the Inn Owner. Cyndi greeted up promptly upon arrival and we all sat in her lovely Victorian Parlor for a chat. She gave us wonderful recommendations for sightseeing and was above and beyond helpful and charming. When we arrived at our room we were stunned, Gorgeous! With an antique clawfoot tub. If you are fortunate enough to stop in this beautiful historic city please stay at The Cedar House Inn, for you will not regret it. What an experience and wonderful start to our Honeymoon. The service was superior, food amazing and location to die for.

We arrived at the Cedar House Inn and were welcomed by Cyndi into her beautiful house as if we had been friends for decades. She sat us down, gave us the best tips on what to do around St. Augustine, showed us around the Inn and made us feel so very welcome and at home. We had read on Trip Advisor about her wonderful breakfasts, but we never would have imagined (until the next morning) how correct the reviews were, until we tasted them ourselves. We stayed for several days, and each day we enjoyed a totally different breakfast experience from Cyndi and help from Gina! Each day after coming back from our "tourist" trip, we were welcomed back by Cyndi as she was getting the Inn ready for the Christmas light displays and she always stopped to ask about our day, offer us a beverage or some fresh baked cookies. One night we had brought back a loaf of fresh bread, and Cyndi even toasted it for us, served on a platter with her "special" datil jelly while my wife and I spent 4 hours finishing up a puzzle they had in the living room (with some excellent wine to boot)! We stayed in the Vizcaya, and was so pleased with the decore, coziness, cleanliness and warmth of the room. After each meal, we would return to the room to find it all made up, fresh linens, clean trash bins and even my shoes were tucked away neatly (Cudos on that)! We love that there is an internal and external entrance to each room, plus climate control for each room! We really enjoyed all that St. Augustine has to offer, never felt unsafe walking around town at night, and visited some incredible sites and monuments. Please make sure to take the trolley ride around town, it sure helps you understand about the history of St. Augustine! When we return, we will only be staying at the Cedar House Inn, thank you so very much Cyndi
